Renewables Revolution – Fact or Fiction?

The real story on renewable energy

Renewable energy is the new buzz word.  Like all new technologies it offers exciting opportunities for some and numerous pitfalls to trip the unwary.  But amongst all the hype, what are the real facts and how do you select the right options?

On the evening of  Wednesday 2nd February, 2011 at The Function Suite, Hexham Mart Youngs Chartered Surveyors will be bringing together a team of experts to talk specifically about current opportunities for farmers and landowners in the world of energy generation and renewables.  Each has specialist knowledge in their own particular field and will take a “no nonsense” approach to the subject, concentrating on the real facts – what works where and why, how much will it cost to set up and what are the expected returns.

Between us we cover a number of bases.  At Youngs we work with clients to maximise the energy generating potential of their assets, advising on a multitude of projects from large scale wind farm developments to small scale generation and dealings with the utility companies.  Our partners for the evening are Inherent Energy Limited and Mannvit Engineering.  Inherent specialise in small scale wind generation projects and Photo Voltaics, whilst Mannvit will discuss opportunities for farmers and landowners in the fields of anaerobic digestion and hydropower.

We believe we have put together a no nonsense programme designed to give you the real facts and figures. The seminar is free of charge but spaces are limited so if you would be interested in coming along please call Hazel Gray in the Youngs CS Hexham office on 01434 609000 to reserve your space. Doors open at 5.30pm for a 6pm start.
